What are the problems being encountered by teenagers that lead to drug abuse??

why do other teens enjoy using drugs? What are the problems being encountered by teenagers that lead to drug abuse??
I've never done drugs, and never will, but I've been around kids that do drugs, and I've noticed many reasons

1. a lot of people in their family (parents, aunts, cousins, etc), have done drugs or are currenly doing drugs and they feel like they're bound to get into drugs just because everyone around them already is doing it, so they just start.

2. they get depressed from a breakup with their boyfriend or girlfriend and turn to drugs so they don't have to deal with the pain they're feeling

3. because their friends do it

4. parents' divorce

5. peer pressure

6. some just want to try it because a lot of people are doing it and they wanna see what it feels like, and then they like it and 'get hooked' on it.What are the problems being encountered by teenagers that lead to drug abuse??
Certain problems in their life that might lead to wanting to take the pain away.

Or it's ';cool';, like peer pressure and all that.

For instance, one of my friend's friend's started using cocaine because her sister committed suicide.

I used drugs on a regular basis to get away.

Just saying all drug users/abusers are 'stupid' is a really immature way to approach something.
i dont know but im smart enough but all i know is its stupid id rather kut myself more than i already do then do drugs who ever dose it is S-T-U-P-I-D stupid
They feel cool and like they fit in.
