What do you think is the difference of teenagers now and before?

I need your opinion about teenagers now and before. Are they better now or before? Or they are worse?

well i am turning 17 this month but i have to say that teens in the 60s to 80s where alright but kind off to easy going with everything and not taking things seriously enough and the 90s where very chill but also fun in a caring way and the 2000s are pretty damn anoying because you cant trust anyone anymore these days i myself have problems trusting any girls and if i do end up having a Girlfriend i still have my doubts and also everyone these days are so damn careless and stuck up i sometimes wish to smash in their faces for how anoying they are about HOW COOL THEY ARE AND HOW THEY ARE SO GREAT AND HOW THEY CAN GET ANY GIRL/GUY but yeah im a loving peaceful person so the whole smashing face is just literally lol

They're pretty much the same. I mean you'll have different types, some nerds, some jocks, some straight-A students, some sci-fi geeks, some materialistic types who love shopping (think of the 80's Valley Girls), some juvenile delinquents, some rockers, some outsiders, some people who's egos are bigger than their sensitivity, some who jump on the latest trend and assume it as their identity instead of thinking for themselves, some religious kids whose social activity centers around the church, I think they change as the culture changes, but they are the same in a lot of ways.





As for what the person below me said about hippies, well there were some in the 60's, but it was about the time of the civil rights movement, so there were racists, and there were also conservatives too, and for some they probably really didn't believe in the same hippie ideology, but they were just going a long with what was popular at the time.
Oh god... SO much better like, 40 plus years ago in the sixties. Then, they cared about helping OTHER people. They left their hair alone. They wanted peace. They wanted to change the world. They wanted a revolution of love for OTHER people. Now what do we have? Self pitying emos who dye, straighten, tease, hairspray, gel and do everything else imaginable to their hair, take pictures of themselves and call them ugly so that they can get compliments, they wear eyeliner, and all they want to do is be told how awesome they are more often. Hippie culture was tolerant of EVERYONE, black, white, indian, chinese, jewish, muslim, christian, they accepted everyone. Now? Black people HAVE to be part of gangs, White kids HAVE to be skinny, self indulgent emos, Chinese kids HAVE to be annoying brainiacs, Muslim and Arab kids HAVE to be terrorists or religious extremists, Jewish kid HAVE to be rich power mongers, etc.





Everyone was happy as a hippie. Now everyone hates everyone else.
