Do american teenagers more likely to wear makeup or less likely?

I'm from China and we were not allowed to wear makeup in high school. I'm kinda curious whether many american teenagers wear them on a daily basis or not. I'm also not good at judging if a person's wearing it or not, lolDo american teenagers more likely to wear makeup or less likely?
I'm in the 8th grade, and I wear slight makeup (foundation, mascara, light eye shadow in the corner of eyes if I didn't get much sleep and lip gloss!) on a daily basis.

Well.........my son is in High School and judging by all the girls I see, I'd say probably 90% of them wear makeup. It's not considered a big deal here. Personally I see females wearing makeup as a teenager as normal really. But with that said, I guess it just depends on ones culture. And I will add some girls wear makeup very heavy (easy to tell then) and some girls wear light makeup......usually the ones in college. I hope this helps.

80% of American teenagers wear WAY too much makeup. Makeup should accentuate your features, not cover them up under 500 pounds of chemicals. Although, its a pretty normal thing. Not out of the ordinary.
More likely, most of America consists of stupid trashy teenagers.

well i dont know if this is everywhere but it probably is...but almost all the girls in my highschool wear makeup...its usually the unpopular ones and geeks who dont lol
Most teenagers in america wear light makeup.


Just like mascara, a little eyeliner maybe, eyeshadow and gloss.
