When I was younger, I enjoyed reading R.L. Stine's Fear Street books (kinda cheesy, but involve high school aged characters) and Lois Duncan's books, like 'Locked in Time,' 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (which is SO much better than the movie, yuck!), 'Stranger with My Face,' 'Gallows Hill,' 'Don't Look Behind You,' and 'Killing Mr. Griffin' (also better than the movie that was made after it, 'Teaching Mrs. Tingle'). There are more, and they're ALL great!
Harry Potter, DUH.
Cirque Du Freak is a good series.
Anything by Ellen Hopkins.
Uglies, Pretties, and Specials.
Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist.
George Orwell's books even though it's nothing like Twilight.
Speak.
Go Ask Alice
Absolute Brightness. %26lt;333333
Vladmir Todd
Harry Potter is kinder horror, and does have a little bit of romance in it.
Girls in tears - Jacqueline Wilson
that is a teenage book about romance but it doesnt have any horror in it.
