well i have alot from different places and in some places they call them
-swing pack [in the coach store]
-messenger bag [macys,nordstroms]
-shoulder bag/pack
you dont have to live in NYC to know what there called...
sorry im not from nyc but i think they are called messenger bags
i was at the mall today and many regular clothing stores had soem very cute ones that would look great for back to school
