That's not even a hard question to asnwer!How does marketing affect teenagers? Which ways?
Teens are the most marketable just because they are impressionable. Anything new attracts them. If it's been out for a few months, it's old to them. This is and oldest trick in the book. It's like cars. They are forever being improved and added to but next years model is always the new and improved. Don't you just gotta have it? This is how money is made. Products have to evolve often to appeal to those who just gotta have. After the C-cards are maxed this game is over. Teenagers and young adults are just prey to this game.How does marketing affect teenagers? Which ways?

Teenagers see a cool, very hot girl/guy on TV! Most teenagers think ';He thats Cool'; on whatever the product they are using. Simply because it is being used by cool looking people. Also known as ';Peer Pressure'; and YES peer pressure is used in advertisements





Example:





Nike





Target: 0 - 100 years old


Product: Apparel/Shoes/





Slogan: Just do It





Now look at ths slogan ';Just do it';





what is that? that is a direct pressure on you to do something? and who is niki? a peer? so what is that





PEER PRESSURE!





also marketing effects everyone, from subliminal messages to the average crappy billboard it doesnt matter your age
