Why do teenagers get into relationships?

I've never been in one, (I'm 17) and I don't really understand why people get into them. They're going to breakup anyway, so why go through the hassle?

mabye they realize they'll probably break up, but they want the practice, they just want to have a good time, they're probably thinking about having something to do on a friday night, not weather or not they'll end up getting marriedWhy do teenagers get into relationships?
everyone wants someone to be with and to fall in love with.


maybe you arent a very emotional person but most people would like someone to be with, for some people, friends are enough.





also, you want to have experience in dating because if you marry the first man/woman you ';fall in love with'; you may not actually be in love and when you realize it, it could be too late. you learn soo much from being in a relationship, breaking up, getting dumped, and the time spent after with yourself. its a great experience and it helps you grow so much as a person.


if your not super into dating, thats fine but you may want to try it some time. dont just go and marry the first person you like.
My parents where in a relationship since they where 16 with each other and are STILL together today. They are 45 years old.....


Relationships aren't always about sex it is about growing and learning how to love someone. Even if the first person you where with was not the one for you it helps to grow in life.
when you find someone you love, you'll understand how it's worth the hassle. and you'll never question it again.





my opinion on relationships is not to look for one too hard, when someone comes along, and sweeps you off your feet, thats when it will be best. relationshipd are beautiful things when they are based on pure love.
Those teens have had inadequate or poor parenting and bad role models.





Not real difficult to see if you realize that we are now into the third generation of accepting premarital sex, teen pregnancy, drug use, etc.





the fact that many people accept and condone those behaviors does not make them healthy for the society or the individual.
i think its because when your young you wanted to feel loved and be in love so people get into them. and even tho theyre gonna break up, during the time when you are together, its like your floating on a cloud of looooooove LOL.


also for guys, its because theyre horny and want some
first u would around someone that u love at skool anywere u can hug n kiss and second u can have sex every guy that gets in a relationship one of the main reasons are to have sex ask anyguy thell tell u
