Why do you think teenagers drink so much alcohol these days?

haven't they always?Why do you think teenagers drink so much alcohol these days?
Probably for the same reasons some of them have been doing for yr after yr..They see it as being ';cool'; or do it to fit in. There is too much peer pressure AND alcohol is still WAY too easy for them to obtain. Too many irresponsible adults are still buying teens the alcohol so as long as this continues to happen, teens will continue to drink... :(Why do you think teenagers drink so much alcohol these days?
well teenagers drink because first of all its so easy to get and also it makes a boring time more fun i guess...people when they drink become more relaxed and i guess its easier to have a good time..as long as you dont over do it by getting absolutey trasheddd, cuase then thats no fun and its scary for ther person and the people around them
because... beer is good. short and simple. besides like all of the people i know when they were teenagers they drank like crazy, its the rush you get when you drink when your not supposed to. and once your twenty one.. all the fun from drinking is gone.. well for me anyways
Due to the fact that it's something that's restricted to them until they turn 21, it's only natural that they'd want to do it. So if they're restricted legally from drinking, then there's more temptation to drink.
Looking at the reports from US, Canadian and UK studies, yes, they drink a lot these days. But it is not as bad as teens in 70s. No matter what our parents say, you know wild uprising of teens and youths in 70s with pot and etc.
Because well tell them they can not drink so it is a lot more fun if they know they can get in trouble. Or The peer pressure and the I have to fit in factor they do not want to be the weak one of the group
because their is not enough things to do(depending where they live)..more stress.want to let go.pretty much cause their bored and need something to do and getting stupid and not giving a care seems to be fun..
Always have, always will. Just worry about yourself and your circle of friends. Please be responsible and remember...

im 17 years old and I honestly laugh at kids that always talk about drinking and smoking. I think its pathetic. All they want, is to be rebellious and its stupid.
cuzz its fun and really at every party u go to in high school theres drugs and alchhol
cus their f*ckin 'ard.
