What is Pensacola FL like? Is it an old folks community or is it a happenin (without a million teenagers) area

We live in Navarre, which is about 25 miles east of Pensacola and it's an awesome place to live and there are a ton of things to do. Pensacola has a variety of people, most of whom are exceptionally nice, fun and family-oriented. Pensacola Beach is beautiful and there is a younger, more carefree group of people in that area. It's very laid-back and beautiful. We lived in San Antonio for about ten years...loved it there, but would never leave this area because it's so perfect for us. Hope that helps. I would encourage you to visit, if possible...especially if you love white sandy beaches and emerald green water. :)What is Pensacola FL like? Go to Google and type in Pensacola. Here's a snapshot:

There were 24,524 households out of which 24.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.7% were married couples living together, 16.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.2% were non-families. 32.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.27 and the average family size was 2.92.

Whether being around teenagers, old-folks or not, if one likes oysters, there is simply no other place to be when it's the right time of year at the right restaurant. If you don't like teenages, old-folks or oysters, run for President. This way you can cut social programs and no one will have money to travel; you can have the place to yourself if you can cut Naval funding also. That may be a bad idea. Only the rich will have money and they are typically older and producing offspring. Sorry, I'll retract that, Just become President. What is Pensacola FL like? Pensacola is a slow-paced town dominated by the presence of the Navy. It is more like Alabama when compared to the rest of Florida. The beaches are beautiful and due to the large presence of rednecks, it's commonly called the ';Redneck Riviera';. It's more for retirees and not for teenagers.
According to the census, there were 24,524 households out of which 24.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.7% were married couples living together, 16.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.2% were non-families. 32.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
