Teenagers who honestly enjoy classic rock and are proud of it?

I'm 14 and I love Led Zeppelin, The Who, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix etc. Infact I actually saw AC/DC live last yearTeenagers who honestly enjoy classic rock and are proud of it?
I'm 15 and a dedicated lover of classic rock.


I go to a really conservative private school that consists of about 70 students in the high school total. I put David Bowie, Guns N Roses, and The Doors pins on my backpack :) Which is a rather daring thing to do since all the faculty and students are uber conservative.


My favourite band is The Who. I absolutely adore The Who. :) Then I like Led Zeppelin, followed by Cheap Trick, and then Peter Frampton.
I'm now 27 and I went through a similar thing at your age, being into classic metal. As I got older, I realized how much classic metal had in common with it's slightly older cousin in classic rock. With that said, you should check out some borderline hard rock/metal bands like:





Diamond Head (w/ Sean Harris on vocals)


Montrose (w/ Sammy Hagar on vocals)


UFO (w/ Michael Schenker on guitar)





All of them are somewhat similar to Zeppelin. And do yourself a favor by picking up Deep Purple's ';Machine Head';. The most popular track, ';Smoke On The Water'; is actually my least favorite on the record.
I do... I love Led Zeppelin and The Doors. Me and two of my friends listen to classic rock and we love especially when we talk in front of our other friends.





Me: Do you think Pink Floyd was better with Syd Barrett or without?


Friend: Yeah i think that they where better with him but i mean Dark Side of the Moon came out well and so did Meddle. Who do you think is a better musician Janis Joplin or Patti Smith.

im 17 and like all classic rock bands.Nearly everything I listen to is from the 60s,70s and 80s. I think that classic rock is alot better than todays music - honestly most people at my school like teen pop like miley cyrus and the jonas brothers and also hip hop/rap.
I'm 17 years old, I like Pink Floyd, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steppenwolf, CCR, BTO, Jefferson Airplane, Bob Dylan, and countless others. I even have a vinyl of Led Zeppelin II, but I'm going to get more when i get my vinyl player workin again.
I'm 17. My Favorite band is Led Zeppelin, closely followed by the Beatles





I'm at a school of about 2200, and I see a few Zeppelin and Floyd shirts floating around and a couple Beatles bags, but honestly there's not a lot of people who listen to it at my school
I'm 22 now, which means I haven't counted for 3 years now. BUT, back when I was 16/17 I really started to get into a lot of older stuff. I love The Eagles, Kansas, Journey, Creedance, Thin Lizzy, The Who, and AC/DC.





Favorite's gotta be Buffalo Springfield.

Yes there are. I don't listen to a lot of music but i love the music from the 60's and 70's. Also there are a ton of kids at my school who love classical music too.
i'm 14, and while theyre not my favorite artists, i do enjoy Def Leppard, Journey, and Ozzy Osbourne. My boyfriend is obsessed with all three and he's the same age. It's possible, just rare.

that's crazy. I'd hate to be where you are, 15, Metallica (more metal but whatever) also AC/DC and pretty much anything before Miley cyrus was born and hopefully everything after she dies

No I'm a social outkast when it comes Classic rock. I consider Stuff like Pearl Jam classic and I don't like The Beatles. Not good in the eyes of most '' music after 1980 is trash'' people. :)
Its a phase. I went through it when I was 16 same with all my friends. Zep, Pink Floyd, Cheap Trick, Journey, Heart, Def Leppard, AC/DC (who actually blows).

17 and yes I do enjoy some Classic Rock from time to time. I however like Classic Folk Rock better.
