Alot of reasons. Their lives are increasingly more virtual than ever before. All of their time is spent interacting with artificial things and blocking out reality. iPods constantly in their ears, eyes always fixed on some screen, brain being stimulated by video games and chat rooms.





then theres the constant message of ';your life is worthless without fame and money'; theyre bombarded with in their music and the shows they watch on MTV or BET or VH1 and E!.





There isnt any reality to them anymore.





All of this matched with selfish parents whod rather both work full time and drive a Lexus than stay at home with their children and drive a Honda.





The modern childs world revolves completely around them. Community has collapsed. Family has collapsed. And true dignity and respect have been replaced by thug-rule and violence.Why are teenagers beating and killing homeless people?

Teenagers should have the right to victimize others. After all, look how they have been treated in this country. They have been enslaved by adults and forced to do chores and homework. Some have been denied their own cellphone and not allowed to smoke marijuana, drink alcohol, or use other illegal drugs. Some had to drive an old Chevy rather than a new Lexus. Some have even made to suffer the indignity of getting a part-time job! This terrible treatment causes what psychologists describe as ';teen rage';. Any young person forced to suffer these indignities must be treated with understanding and allowed to act out their aggression so they can someday feel better about themselves. Anyhow, its ';just a phase';.
They feel a sense of power when in a group together. They should get locked up for a long time for killing.
Cause they're CRAZY! As Chris Rock said, ';Whatever happened to CRAZY?!';





The teenagers need to go to a mental hospital, and their parents need to have their parenting license revoked--oh wait, people don't need a license to raise children; that's part of the problem, in my humble opinion.
Kids these days have nothing better to do. Parents aren't teaching kids any respect. Somebody needs to beat those kids.
1-people aren't properly punished for heinous crimes now-a-days.2-It seems a lot of parents have better things to do than properly raise their kids right. 3- Look at society. Immediate-gratification is taking the place of everything from empathy and compassion to personal-growth, to becoming a person of value.
I wish I had the answer to this question - we could save a lot of innocent people pain, and also save a lot of people the hurt when they find out their child beat or killed a person!
Some may b older child bullies out-grown play-ground beating! We dealt w/ 'em - 'rents usual atitude: ';No witnes, can't prove it.';
i don't know. I just saw a movie that some kids did that and it pissed me off. I know many people say that kids don't get stuff like that from movies and music.. but i think they do. It just takes one seed to be planted in a persuasive person's head to lead the pack.
Teenagers don't kill or beat homeless people, the people who does need treatment.
I don't know what is going on with our teens today. There must be preservative and chemichal overload from our food or something. All these bad things are happening to our physical and mental health these days. I don't know what is going on.
I don't think that enough people are taught true compassion for others (and animals).





I don't know how anyone can get a kick out of brutally killing anything.

They want the cardboard boxes. Just let them slide...no punishment. The homeless are nuisances, like unwanted babies, just look at it like very late-term abortions.
