seriously, it's a big demografix prob.


Pensions r paid (deservedly) by the working pop thru taxes to those who have worked and contributed to the fund during their lives (generally). With this demographic deficit, these funds will run out.


When the scheme started, people M65, F60 were expected 2 live 2 or 3 years, then decently pop their clogs. Thanks (!) to the NHS and higher standards of living more peeps r living longer. 2 Solutions (!?) work longer or have a compulsory contributary investment scheme.


The govts euthenasia thru fuel/food poverty scheme seems a tad inhumane!
its been on the news, in papers for some time now. Its scary when you think that these children are going to have to support us in our old age, and there simply won't be enough of them, and looking and listening to many, they are unemployable.
Did you know that people in general spend 7 times longer shopping than playing with their children in a week? And more people in the US file for bankruptcy in a year than graduate from college?





It's a sad world.
So the Government should upset them at their peril.
