Is walking for teenagers good or they should opt for other aerobic and anaerobic exercises?

yes.


walking is good, not only for children and teenagers but also for grown ups.


it is also a form of aerobic exercise.


you burn the same calories as you would have using a treadmill.


a brisk walk everyday (2 times) is good for everyone.


i too am a teenager.


i walk to my tuitions everyday thus i get a 20-25 minute walk everyday.Is walking for teenagers good or they should opt for other aerobic and anaerobic exercises?

ANY exercise is ok, as long as it's for 1/2 hour, %26amp; al least 3 times weekly.


What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to lose weight, or simply stay fit? If you're already in decent shape, walking is fine.
sure it's better than sitting around but it would be more effective to do something that will raise your heartrate a little more. try running, cycling or the best exercise swimming. also anaerobic exercises won't do much good as they can't be sustained for a period of time.
