Is laser hair removal safe fo teenagers?

My teenage daughter wants to get laser hair removal this summer. Is this a safe procedure for teens or should she wait a few more years to start the treatments? Is laser hair removal safe fo teenagers?
Laser hair removal should be safe for her. If she is still going througfh puberty, however, a number of new follicles may become acitve after her treatments.

Actually more and more teens are getting laser hair removal treatments, but these are some tips I found on a website:

1. Understanding that the procedure鈥檚 results are neither immediate nor permanent.

2. Several sessions may be required, and because of the temporary reddening of the skin that follows, it may be wise to schedule one鈥檚 appointments over a vacation from school.

3. Teenager鈥檚 hair tends to re-grow at a faster rate than adults, and generally require more treatments than adults.
I'm a beautician. Laser Hair Removal would be appropriate for a teenager. It is expensive but well worth it if you can afford it. If your child has a darker skin colour please becareful of pigmentation. Other than that it is safe if you find a reputable beauty salon or doctor.
