Should teenagers be involved in extracurricular activites at school?

Studies have shown that students who are involved in extracurricular activites get better grades. But is that really true? I think that it gets kids to come to school, but it doesn't help their grades in non-participation based classes. They take your time from homework, and they can do other nasty things.

Also, if they should, is there a limit to how many they should be involved in?Should teenagers be involved in extracurricular activites at school?
YES! They need to be in extracurricular activities. Colleges look for extracurricular activities. Only certain ones that show a good characteristic of your teenager. Your teenager should pick one that interests him/her the most.Should teenagers be involved in extracurricular activites at school?
If a student can keep his /her grades up and be involved in at school extracurricular activities at the same time, yes, by all means they should have that privilege.
Absolutely. Extracurricular activities are great. We were only allowed one sport per season, but could be involved in other clubs etc as much as we wanted. It kept us out of trouble and the fact that we had to keep our grades up didn't hurt.
yes and yes, if u get you kid outside, then ill help them in the furure to not be lazy bums...however dont overload her/him or she will get over stress and might kill her/his self or something
