hi, i would like to raise some money for cancer research with my friend. i am a teenager and would like to do something simple but effective. Also i would like to get a lot of other teens involved. any ideas???Ideas for raising money for cancer Research for teenagers?

You can start by creating a profile on MicroGiving. That will give you the ability to collect donations and provide you with access to the donors already on the site. After that you can use all the social networking sites; myspace, facebook, etc. To spread awareness and bring people to your page that will hopefully donate.
ok simple things - try car washing (which can involve stopping them in a sensible place and wiping down there window and having a donation box if they would like to donate or go round door to door asking if they require there car washed) taking pets for a walk - a disco - ticket event so you can sell tickets, then go round with a donation box. do a raffle, do a jumble sale - collecting old junk from people. a swimming race, halloween party event, the things are endless and very worthwhile - good on you and good luck
i am 14 and i once bought or got donated to me toiletries and things like that and had a little tombola at a car-boot sale and then donated all of the money to cancer we raised over 拢200 it was so cool. and we also sold some of are old teddies and things we didn't need! it all helps!
