Not everyone does, but that doesn't mean that others don't. U don't have to do what everyone else is doing. At least ur butt will be warm in that kind of jacket, unlike most of these girl's who's winter jackets barely touch their waist.Do teenagers nowadays wear winter jackets that are just above the knees?
*i personally think that a long coat could be classy and sophisticated but it depends on how old you are. I would say not if you're younger than 16. 17, 18, and up = good. Some jackets are like that. If they are really big winter jackets like for the snow then NO. But some certain jackets go to your knees and look really cute.
usually young adults do for fashion.


otherwise i usually see teens wearing jackets with faux fur.
not really its more of the cardigan sweaters and blazers. Try looking at Forever21.com or alloy.com they are really cute.
