xoxoHow Does The Theme of LOVE in Romeo and Juliet Relate to Society and Teenagers Today? [[please click heree]]?
Their love at first sight was shallow, and they were probably more trying to escape from their situation at home. Romeo was a ';lady's man'; and just got over an ex-gf when he saw Juliet and dramatically fell in love with her, just like the others. He was a moody, emotional, immature fellow.. with gfs who come and go... and each he had a passion for. And Juliet was doing anything to not be with the assigned guy she'd marry. When teen girls are too pulled in by their fam, they tend to want to escape. Rebellious natures, made them unite, their foolish passions, without commitment and wisdom, made them blind to each other's flaws, and ends in tragedy.
Just like kids today, they go out because they think a person is ';hot';. They think they're perfect because they're beautiful on the outside, and they rebel against the parents. Also, divorce is high because people think passion is all they need for marriage, when in reality passion fades and so does appearance, and emotions can't be trusted. That's why a mature adult can be wise enough to know that love is a choice... to stick together after selfish reasons are gone. Romeo and Juliet were, despite how it seems they so love each other, have self-interest at heart. They believe they're loyal to another, when in fact they want to further the passion, which fuels their own fire...sooner or later it'll die in reality, in marriage. How Does The Theme of LOVE in Romeo and Juliet Relate to Society and Teenagers Today? I just read this book in class...lol...8th grade. Umm...i dont really understand the question but...i'll try...
Ok, Romeo %26amp; Juliet knew their love was forbidden, but they still continued seeing each-other. ';Today'; even when parents forbid their kids from seeing a certain person, for any reason, it only makes them want to see them more, and they most probably will continue to see the person, because they 'belive' that they are in 'love'.
Romeo %26amp; Juliet would have rather died, then have to live their lives with out each other. some ';teenagers'; are extremley dramatic, and might think the same way. Also, at the time ( i dont know about romeo but..) Juliet WAS a teenager.
I hope this helps you at least get an idea about what to write about.
yes, because Romeo and Juliet fell in ';love at first sight';. Look at why so many people chooses to divorce in our society today, and you'll find a similarity.
Romeo and Juliet did ANYTHING to be together, and they rebelled against their parents, MUCH like teens today...and I know that from experience =) lol
