im doing a paper..what do you guys think about teens driving and having bad grades..
do you think that teens should have good grades in order to get a license?
thnksWhat do you think about teenagers driving?
I dont think having good grades really has much to do with how well you can drive, but I don't really think it's bad that teenagers drive because of course some of them don't drive well, but some adults don't drive well either. so why take it out on just the teens? What do you think about teenagers driving?
I don't think there is much of a correlation between grades and how well you drive.
I get straight A's and I am a really bad driver (hate to admit it but its true :| ).
However honestly I think they should at least move the driving age up a little. States (like mine, I live in KS) that have a really low driving age (14 for your learners or farmers permit here) also have the highest car accident death rates for people ages 16-24.
Grades do not define a person. School has nothing to do with education, learning, or real life.
It is not age that makes a person a good driver. It is experience, as with any other human skill. People learn better when they are younger. Teach them to drive at 16 and they will be good drivers by the time they're 20. Teach them to drive when they're 12 and they'll be good drivers by the time they're 16.
I think that only a responsible teen should drive.
only the responsible ones because the ones that aren't responsible are the ones who end up hurting their self's or someone else.
there was a kid at my school who died this year due to irresponsible driving and speeding.
I don't see why that would be necessary...That doesn't sound like a very good rule. As long as they're responsible when it comes to driving and they got a good score on the driving test I think it's fine.
I don't see how doing well according to a government-funded indoctrination daycare center has anything to do with driving.
Teenagers shouldn't be driving anyway
