What is less lethal to teenagers than AIDS?

I'm doing a research paper for school and I need to know what kills less teenagers in the United States than AIDS. I'm looking for things that you might think would actually kill more, but don't. Thank you for you help, in advance. What is less lethal to teenagers than AIDS?
Hepatitis C!

Teens have been known to share a razor, toothbrush, home peircings....tatoos using the same possibly infected with HCV untensil.

Those that do drugs could spread hcv through cocaine straws or cut themselves with homade equipment.

The difference between AIDS and HCV is HCV is only transfered by blood to blood (infetious blood to someone elses)

HCV (hepatitis c) can cause what most think as no symptoms for decades, so if you were infected as a teen, chances are you wont know until up to 10 years later!

Death can occur after decades of infection!! So you could say in 30 years from being a teen you could die at 48 (if you were 18 at the time of infection)

There is no vaccine for HCV!

Other disease would be HBV which there is a vaccine for!

For non diseases, it would be drinking and driving, however, there is a decrease in deaths now due to new laws.

Wish I knew what else...but get the word out on hepatitis c!!!

Over 4 million infected and the new cases are in those who are teens into the twenties! What is less lethal to teenagers than AIDS?
