What is your opinion that teenagers should never keep secrets from their parents?

it's suddenly came out from my mind...What is your opinion that teenagers should never keep secrets from their parents?
everyone should be entitled to their own resonal privacy.





but honesty is almost always the best way to avoid long term conflicts/confrontations.





dishonety and secret keeping inevitably leads to problems down the line.





still, i think everyone, no matter who they are, what their age is, or their relationship to another, should be allowed to keep a secret....





even under oath, you have the ability to make the chioce ont to tell ';thw whole truth'; despite the legal ramifications of what happens if you do keep secrets.





the option, no matter how horrible the consequences, should be avaliable to anyone.What is your opinion that teenagers should never keep secrets from their parents?
Secrets? Everyone has secrets.


If you mean more so, keeping things from you that they know they shouldn't be doing?


They will only dislike you more for getting into their privacy. However things like the computer, cell phones, and telephone are privileges, and they can be taken away accordingly if they do something wrong.


It is NOT okay to looking through their belongings if you ';suspect'; something. Yes, teenagers are little dodgies always lying and always manipulating, but thats what being a good parent is. You should be involved enough to know when something changes in your child.
I never recommend teens keeping secrets, because a secret is only a secret when it is information that is hidden, or covered for some reason. We don’t hid things that are NOT “dark” in some way.





Teenagers are gonna have private thoughts, or discreet things that they do, that they’ll keep as/and for their own separate considerations and reasons. This is true for all human beings, however teenagers must grow into being able to discern between what is their own personal knowledge to have and to hold, and what matters are dangerous, and require more mature help, then they can give on their own.





Other than that, one must be prepared to PUT OUT FIRES.

Everyone keeps secrets. It is normal to have things you are not comfortable telling your parents. You shouldn't keep secrets about things that effect your health or safety.
That's stupid. Denying children their secrets is an attempt to control their lives completely. Everyone is entitled to their secrets. A society without lies can not function.
Everyone has secrets. Parents don't need to know absolutely everything about their kids, as long as they aren't doing drugs.
secrets are what people are about if everyone told their true identies this world will fall apart.
