You can have my opinion since I dont' know the statistics, I am 58, taught school for many years, remember my childhood, the answer is yes yes yes, save yourself. Life is predatory these days, it didn't use to be like that, too much lying and trying to take advantage of you at every point. Try to be as stress free as you can. Agreed, the No Child Left Behind program is an exercise in practiced stupidity.





The students that could go ahead aren't allowed and the ones that can't get ahead (because of bad teaching or stubbornness) are pushed forward. That's a lot to stress about if you aren't completely apathetic (and who is?).
