What is popular for clothing for teenagers in greece?

I might be moving to Greece from America.

That's a hard transition, and I definitely want to TRY to fit in.

Please Please help me.What is popular for clothing for teenagers in greece?
Well, emo clothing is extremely popular clothing in greece, and most teenagers dress similar to american teenagers. Shops here may differ from american ones, (except the designer brands) I mean there isn't Abercombie and Fitch here (I think many american teenagers shop from there). Anyway, very popular shops that have also cheap, cheap, cheap prices are Bershka, Zara, Pull n' Bear, Mark's and Spencer's. (for everyday like jeans, shorts that we DO wear them, T-shirts) For more formal like lingerie tops, skirts, dresses but also jeans are BSB, Toi and Moi, Paranoia. If you re closer to the ';emo'; style, in monastiraki (you know, under Acropolis) there are plenty of stores selling all stars, vans, and emo clothing. You should definately visit ';The Mall'; in Marousi, it's the biggest mall and has anything you want to find in there. But don't worry, I'm just letting you know what the style here in Greece is. However you dress you ll fit in immediately, trust me, foreign students are always the most popular in our schools. Really! Good luck! What is popular for clothing for teenagers in greece?

Greek teenagers dress like American teenagers.

Vergina-- many teenagers wear shorts in the city. And not just long jeans and a t-shirt. All kinds of pants, including the very popular cargo pants are worn. And dresses do not necessarily have to be mini-dresses. Skirts , also, are worn, the denim kind as well as the other kind. Do you know the expression ';kathe kardias karydi';?
No shorts in the city. Long jeans and T shirts are fine. At night either pants or a mini dress is fine.

First and foremost for you to fit in, be yourself and be friendly and interested to meet other kids your age. No need to try too hard.

If you try to speak a few phrases in Greek, even with heavy accent, everybody will love you for your effort.

Good luck (I think you'll do just fine)

Edit: Sorry but never happen to notice shorts in cities when I visited in the summer.I hope I am wrong but I remember girls were wearing tight jeans in August and looked so uncomfortable, yet no one was wearing shorts...that is except me (and not a teen either, but didn't care, was too hot to abide by the unwritten rules of the local fashion).

Oh, in vacation areas is different, as anybody wears shorts,(except my mom of course LOL)

I do hope the fashion rules changed in the last 2-3 years, as summers are getting hotter and hotter and me and my family decided to visit Greece different months besides summer.

So maybe you check with locals and get a better idea, or even better look around you when you get there:)
No shorts in the city??? Sorry Vergina but don't you know that shorts have been in style for the past three years?? It's Greece people!! Even if it wasn't in fashion we should still wear shorts!! If we don't wear shorts in Greece where are we going to wear them?????
some popular clothing stores in Greece: Sprider, pull %26amp; bear, zara's, etc. try to go their websites (not sure of their addresses) and from there you can get an idea of what's in style.
Jeans and T-shirts, denim skirts, cargo pants, casual dresses, anything really.
From what I noticed this summer, the styles in Greece are the same as in US. You won't have a problem fitting in.
There are many emos in Greece nowadays %26lt;3
